#TheThirdParty 9.5/10 The Third Party revolves around three main characters, Andi(Angel), Christian(Zanjoe), and Max(Sam). The conflict begins when Max went back to the Philippines and he, Andi, and Christian met. The movie is very unusual for star cinema, it was a brave one I should say, tackling a story about same sex relationship specially between two males. The Third Party was a feel good movie about accepting who you are and knowing yourself better, it's a gay movie without being too gay. The story is simple yet very engaging. Engaging in the sense that you wouldn't want to miss any detail of the movie, though at first I thought it was a predictable one, it turned out that what I was thinking didn't happened Though I find the story very familiar I don't just remember what movie it resembles and Star Cinema just couldn't breakout from the norm of having a character that has a conflict with their family. Anyway the story was still good. Angel Locsin really did great in this movie (No Biases here), she just proved that she is one of the best versatile actress in this generation, doing the heavy drama to comic scenes she really did great. There's this scene that I really love in the movie, the one with Cherrie Pie Picache and it really hooked me. Sam Milby was brave in accepting this role, I wasn't expecting anything spectacular about his role, but surprisingly he went out of his comfort zone and did a bold move doing some scenes in this movie that you wouldn't expect him to do. I didn't feel any inhibitions from him, doing a bisexual role I guess he gave justice to it. (Doubters should watch the movie) Zanjoe Marudo delivered well in this movie, portraying another gay role this time a more serious one. I love the team up of Z and Sam, seriously both of them looked good in this movie together(though sometimes they looked awkward haha). Last, Alma Moreno was the bomb in this movie, every scene was a comic relief. All in all the movie was good, a feel good movie about different kinds of love, whether same sex, opposite sex, to your mother, to your family. The simplicity of the movie made it beautiful and very engaging.
