The Mapua Cardinals shrugs off their cold start to eliminate the EAC Generals in the Final Four race 82-72. The Generals kick off the game with a 19-15 lead in the opening period, but the Cardinals were able to recover in the second period as they end the first half tied at 36.
Coming in to the second half the Cardinals continues their hot shooting, outscoring the Generals to take control of the game 62-53, at this point Mapua didn't looked back anymore as they pull away in the final period.
Andrew Estrella and Almel Orquina led the Cardinals with 19 and 18 points respectively, while Darrel Menina and JR Raflores added 14 points each for Mapua. Francis Munsayac 25 points didn't push the Generals to a much needed win.

The Stags opened the game on a high note establishing an early 18-9 lead in the opening period, but in the second period the Blazers were able to cut the deficit down to a 24-27 ball game to end the second period.
San Sebastian was able to return in the third period to extend their lead up 46-39. In the final period CSB tried to lessen the lead of the Stags, but still they ended the game down.
Allyn Bulanadi led the Stags with 17 points, while Clement Leutcheu led the Blazers with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
