Miggy Morales: Keeping it Young and Fit.

They say that men age like fine wine and true enough for Miggy, our March Guy that at his age (No age reveal this time, better guess of his age) he has that still gorgeous skin and physically fit body and still sporting those washboard abs.

To maintain his fit body, Miggy keeps himself active, aside from frequently going to the gym to lift weights and doing his regular cardio routine, he also spends time doing mixed martial arts specially Jiu Jitsu and also aside from doing physical activities he does avoid fatty foods and just try to stay on the healthier side eating chicken and brown rice.

Before it was a taboo for men to have a skin care routine as it is very feminine, but hey it’s 2024 and men just like women are also investing in skin care. For Miggy, part of maintaining that youthful glow is washing his face and using moisturizers to keep his skin fresh, well that’s how you fight aging in 2024.

Our newest set of interview is available below, learn a thing or two from Miggy Morales’ fitness and skin care routine.

How were you able to maintain that youthful glow and fit body?

Ano bang ginagawa ko haha, okay, yung pangkontra ko ng stress ko sa trabaho ah like I said kanina I do sports yan talaga yung main thing na tingin ko maintains my youth feeling. Ah I do jiu jitsu I try to do it as regular as possible, but unfortunately lately hindi kaya.

I like to sweat a lot, so pagka when I don’t have time to go to dojo or our gym to do jiu jitsu or muay thai nag gi-gym ako at least sa gym na malapit sa place ko like I lift weights or jog around the area yun lang.

As long as I sweat alot and drink a lot of water, I try to eat healthy as much as possible.

What type of work out have you been doing? Any favorite and least favorite workout routines?

I try to go to the gym as in workout as in lifting weights and doing cardio at least three times a week, so after work yan or before work if I have time pagka gumising ako ng maaga, I try to wake up like latest is at 6am eh, before 5am yung goal ko talaga eh every day so pag maaga magising i go to the gym first.

Ang ginagawa ko, program ko, I run first  for 30 minutes and lift weights. First day of the week I do my legs, second day I do my chest, third day is back, fourth day is kahit ano na kung ano yung feeling ko na I need to work on yun na yung winoworkout kong body part.  But lagi merong cardio.

Are you the adrenaline junkie type or the chill type of guy?

Adrenaline junkie, definitely, I like extreme sports gusto ko yung feeling na yung halos mamatay ka na, I heard from someone before that you feel most alive when you are about to die parang ganun haha.

How about diet? Do you follow any diet? What are the foods you avoid and you eat?

To stay fit wala talaga because I think I have a really fast metabolism, but to stay healthy because its hereditary mataas yung cholesterol ko talaga so for someone as thin as me mataas yung cholesterol ko.

I stay away from oily and fatty food, tinatry ko kumain ng fish lagi and brown rice, ang pinaka ano ko lang talaga as in I never changed it my first meal of the day, oatmeal with fruits that’s my first breakfast yung second breakfast kahit ano na yun.

Do you know how to cook? Any specialty?

Laga ng itlog? hahaha. Marunong ako konti, pero di ko na nagagawa lately dahil walang oras and yung place ko we are not allowed to bring in mga LPG  eh so we use induction cooker and I have to cook it sa balcony ko because I don’t have exhaust.

As a guy, is skin care a must?

I think so, for every person naman you have to take care of your skin. I mean maybe for those who don’t care about looking so much different from what you used to look like when you were younger, okay lang yan, but ako I try to maintain a certain regimen.

Skin care routine? hahaha, yung facial wash ko kahit ano lang wala akong pakialam basta malinis ang mukha, gumagamit ako ng astringent or toner kasi minsan after washing your face diba pag inano mo ng cotton yan with astringent or toner makita madumi pa din eh kaya I ty to use that, yung celeteque yung mild lang, no frills and then after that moisturizer lang, what I use? currently Kiehl’s yung facial fuel, nagsiswitch ako from one type to another kasi parang gusto ko makita yung pinaka okay.

Before hindi ako naniniwala jan eh, kasi kapag ka dry masyado yung skin mo ang sakit diba kapag nagstretch mararamdaman mo parang magbibiyak na yung ano mo eh so I have to moisturized para may some sort of elasticity, tapos na fifeel ko parang di ako tumatanda.

Favorite part of your body?

Maybe my nose, I get a lot of compliment haha and sometimes hindi compliment eh tinatanong ako kung totoo ba hahaha. I guess I should take that as a compliment dahil sabi nila medyo matangos daw and pointed, I feel good when someone compliments me about it hahaha.

And Part of your body that needs improvement?

Nako, di ko na balak iimprove dahil alam ko namang walang magagawa about it, yung paa ko.

Yung feet ko, dati tinutukso pa ko ng brother ko about it, malapad yung paa ko and I am flat footed pa pero di ko alam kung yun ang dahilan kaya ang taas ko tumalon sobra parang frog, pero yeah yun lang yung pinaka iniisip ko lagi.

Part of your body that you think is most vulnerable?

The neck, kapag inaano ako ng ate ko or kuya ko mabilis ako makiliti.

Miggy Morales: The Romantic Bachelor.

We are on our second part of our month-long 13th anniversary feature and we get to dig deeper with our Guy this March. We get to the more intimate side of Miggy Morales in this feature as we touch in with his romantic side.

Our guy, Miggy, could pass off as a bachelor, but he isn’t currently available as he is in a long distance relationship for six years (turning 7 this year), For him the best way to keep a relationship strong despite the distance is through good communication,

Quiet, that’s how Miggy describes himself as a partner that others might think that he’s not that expressive of his love, but he make sure that he makes amends of it through his actions and not just through words

Despite being in a relationship, settling down is still far from his agendas in life as Miggy wants to enjoy his bachelorhood more by reaching his goals in life whether it is financial or with regards to his career.

When people tell him that he is already left behind when it comes to building his own family he just shrugs them off as he believes that he is in control of his life and he’s the one that should be deciding on the things that he will be doing.

Get to read more of our conversation with Miggy Morales below:

Are you single or taken?

I’m taken.

How long have you been taken?

Six years.

What’s the secret in keeping a relationship long?

May different phases itong relationship na ito eh, may part na we were both here in the Philippines, and currently long distance ito. I guess for both phases the secret talaga is communication, it's not a secret actually it’s a known fact that a key to a good relationship is good communication with each other, you missed the person you communicate it, you’re angry with the person you communicate it in such a way na hindi naman magcocause ng mas malaking away.

Communication and how well you communicate things to the other person that’s the key to a good relationship I would say.

How do you manage this long distance relationship?

Well first of all, I guess you should manage yourself first haha, since  magkalayo kayo sa isa’t isa iba iba ang oras niyo if you are able to manage your self, your state of being, your mood throughout the day then pag nag usap kayo when your schedules meet, you are in a good mood, and you are able to talk to each other without arguing kasi parehas kayong good mood eh.so you have to manage yourself first, your mood before you talk to her.

How would you describe yourself as a partner?

Not only as a partner , but generally sobrang tahimik akong tao and others might mistake that as I am not that much of  a demonstrative person, lagi akong tahimik lang, poker face ganyan, yung love pinapakita ko through actions not through words or facial reactions.

Yung ginagawa ko para dun sa tao, the sacrifices, time, and effort. Yung pagbisita kahit na busy, making time to visit her or when she visits talagang itututok ko yung oras ko.

Most romantic thing you’ve ever done so far?

I am not sure if it’s the most romantic, but it’s what I remember now maybe the most romantic for the past months, years, my partner she recently took a training for this company and when she graduated and I couldn’t go so nag prepare ako ng something sa house nya dun, may nag surprise sa kanya na mga regalo.

Yung pag coordinate nun is the romantic thing i guess, kasi yun yung effort eh it’s a different country.

Craziest thing you’ve ever done so far?

Siguro nagtravel ako sa ibang bansa three times in one month haha.

What’s your biggest turn on and what turns you off big time?

Biggest turn on, anong klaseng turn on? hahaha, the biggest turn on talaga is yung maturity and humility combined, I would look up to the person who has it.

Turn off? Arrogance.

Would you ever be friends with an Ex?

Lagi, sa buhay ko ang kinoconsider ko lang talaga na ex, yung official, konti lang sila eh haha. I maintain a diplomatic relationship with everyone, walang bad break up, bad break up sa akin.

Best thing about being a bachelor?

You get to focus more on other things, your goals. I guess you have more time to focus on them eh, which means that you also have to make the most of it, it doesn’t mean na maging relaxed ka.

You get to spend more time achieving your goals in life whether financially, career wise, or yung sa sports mo if you want to grow, having more time with your family as well, because when you are married it's’ going to shift one way or another, you can’t really control it kung tutok ka sa asawa mo or anak mo yung priorities mo mag iiba, basically you really have more time to spend para sa sarili mo and other people.

Have you ever felt pressured to settle down?

No, I have my own timeline, di ako nag kukumpara sa iba, naka focus lang ako sa sarili ko,

When other people tell me na huli na para sa ganito, late ka na para sa ganyan hindi ako nakikinig talaga, buhay ko kontrolado, so ko kung magrelax ako problema ko na yun kung ano yung magiging consequences niyan in the future I will deal with that, kung nagmamadali ako maaga ko ginawa ito whatever the consequences are problema ko din, basta oras ko ito ako bahala.

Indie Music on the Rise: Listen to Donna Gift's "Ikaw ba o Ako"

The month of love might be over, but songs about love are all year round.

Independent songs from various independent singers and songwriters has been flooding different music streaming platforms these past few years and we chanced upon one Indie song on the music streaming app Spotify performed by Donna Gift Ricafrente entitled “Ikaw ba o Ako”.

Donna Gift’s name might ring a bell as she is one of the grand finalist of Tawag ng Tanghalan year 4 back in 2021. Although she failed to cop the title in the competition that was won by JM Yosures, Donna is pursuing her career in music as she dropped her newest single on Spotify which is “Ikaw ba o Ako?”.

For Donna Gift, interpreting the song was easy as it was a very catchy song and very relatable, "Pumasok agad sa systema ko" she added.

The song was written by Feb Cabahug and for Donna working with her was easy and she liked it that Feb is very open to suggestions when it comes to finishing of the song.

We got a chance to had a short chat with the composer of the song, Feb Cabahug, read out interview with her below:

  1. What’s the inspiration behind the song “Ikaw ba o Ako”

- It was about my friend who's been going through some struggles with her lovelife. She (I won't be mentioning her name because they're okay na) asked me one day "Feb, gawan mo ako ng kanta" and I went for it. But it took me a year to really finish the song, because I wasn't in it... Like, wala naman akong heartaches na pinagdadaanan.

  1. As an independent songwriter, how difficult it is to create songs like “Ikaw ba o Ako”

- With "Ikaw Ba O Ako?" I struggled for a year to complete it since it was based from someone's experience. Now if I turn the tables and this was my story, I might have finished the song faster.

  1. Why did you choose Donna Gift as the interpreter of your song?

- She was actually chosen by Sam Valdecantos (from the Boxers who arranged the music). I just submitted the song to Sam and he said, "I know someone who can sing this". The song kasi is very dramatic and mataas ung range and Donna is the perfect fit because of her voice. She sings every note with her heart, sort of like sharing a story with melodies.

  1. Who are your musical icons?

- I look up to Trina Belarmide and Odette Quesada when it comes to songwriting. Regine Velasquez, Gary V and Kuh Ledesma for my OPM favorites. In the international scene I love Sza, Ella Mai (British singer), Brenda Russel, Mariah Carey, Tori Kelly, Babyface madami sila hehe.

  1. Give us a little background on how you started out in writing songs.

- I started at 7 when I saw this poem from a textbook. I read it and then started humming, then it progressed to singing. From there, I've been writing songs up to this day.

Ikaw ba o Ako is already available on Spotify and Youtube Music, you can listen to the song below.

Seo In Guk and Francine Diaz Unveil Magical Song Collaboration "My Love"

In a serendipitous encounter during Seo In Guk's record-breaking fan meet in Manila last year, a unique collaboration was born. The K-drama sensation and multi-talented artist, Seo In Guk, expressed his desire to work with emerging Filipino talent Francine Diaz.

The catalyst for this collaboration was a casual dinner meeting between In Guk and Francine's manager, John Ling.

During the dinner, the multitalented South Korean actor was captivated by Francine's rendition of “Pag-Ibig,” which resonated deeply with him. Despite any initial doubts Francine may have had about her singing prowess in comparison to In Guk's 'magical' voice, the seasoned singer sensed a dynamic synergy between them.

It’s a grand collaboration that nobody saw coming. Seo In Guk shared his enthusiasm for it, saying, "The song's content is about love, so I worked on it, thinking, 'Wouldn't it be fun to make it like a conversation that talks about love and goes back and forth about love?' and that process was just so much fun… I'm very thankful that I got to do that with Francine," as reported by Metro.Style.

The result of this unexpected collaboration is the upcoming single "My Love," released on March 2, 2024 under Universal Records. The track promises a magical blend of Seo In-Guk's seasoned artistry and Francine Diaz's emerging talent, creating a melody that speaks directly to the heart.

Miggy Morales: 13th Anniversary Guy

We mark our 13th anniversary this March and to celebrate another fruitful year of blogging we got here a new Guy to usher in the thirteen fruitful years of Bigbeezbuzz, y’all better say hello to our 13th anniversary guy, Miggy Morales.

We’ve started featuring different guys since 2017 and it has been a staple feature on our blog for the past 5 years and it has been one of the main anchors of our blog, featuring guys from different walks of life, from Pageant Kings, Celebrities, Athletes. Social Media Influencers, and Hotties from all over social media.

For this month, we got Miggy Morales here and I’ve been following him on social media for quite some time now and got impressed with all the credentials tucked under his sleeves.

Now in his 30’s, Miggy still has that good looks, great body, and a very pleasing personality, definitely would pass as a dashing bachelor, right? He stands at 5’10 and well with that pretty face he once tried his luck in the world of modeling, well his first gig was way back when he was 9 years old and he did tried it out until his college years, at that time he was able to snag some print and TVC’s, but he later ditched the modeling career for a more fruitful one.

Today, Miggy is managing his own company that ventures into shipping and construction, well that’s a big credential for our bachelor here.

We are putting the spotlight now on our January Guy, read our interview with Miggy Morales below.

What keeps you busy these days?

Uhm right now I am in the shipping business and construction so that’s what keeps me busy nowadays aside from sports and spending time with family and friends.

You did some modeling stint in your younger years, how was it and why did you go off the radar?

Well my first modeling stint was when I was 9 years old and then I stopped and went back into it when I was in college, pero I wasn’t really that active. Meron akong agency dati na kokontakin lang ako when there’s final casting tapos I would attend pero hindi talaga ako yung sobrang active, I used to do it for fun meron akong couple of print ads and TVCs, pero ayun I would just go kapag when I am included to the final casting na haha based sa mga portfolio kapag sinubmit na ng agency yun they would call if casted ka, yun lang wala masyadong sipag pumunta.

The one that I liked the most was yung sa coffee, I just enjoyed the company of the people there my age. I really had fun kasi the people behind the camera are young, it was a dynamic crew. And yun kasi yung first ko talagang print ad.

Did joining showbizness ever cross your mind?

When I was in grade 7 dumaan siya sa isip ko haha, but I don’t think it was for me. Back when I was a kid mahiyain ako, hindi ko kayang humarap sa camera, nahihiya ako kapag maraming nanunuod na.

Now, mas confident na pero tapos na ko sa stage na yan.

Biggest celebrity crush?

Parang wala nakong kilala sa local masyado eh, but foreign, hindi ako mahilig sa K pop masyado ha haha pero may mga nakikita ako sa social media and I would say maybe si ano Bae Suzy of Miss A ata yun. She’s the leading lady in While You Were Sleeping, yeah that girl.

Running your own business means that you get to hold your time, how do you spend your free time?

I do sports, weekends I really devote it to my family, I go home to my family and spend a lot of time with my mother. Ah, once in a while I travel abroad. That's what I really enjoy doing, that's what recharges me. I would say kapag naiistress sa trabaho.

Other times, once in a while I spend time with friends I have a small circle of friends and a lot of them aren’t based in Manila, so when they visit me we spend two or three days together, aside from that wala yun lang sports, I do jiu jitsu, muay thai, that’s it mainly.

I ride the motorcycle, parang sport na rin para sa akin yung pag umaakyat ng bundok because it’s really tiring and it really trains your muscles when you ride the motorcycle uphill and downhill.

What’s your ultimate goal?

Ah, okay, hmmm my ultimate goal is to really develop my character into the person that I really want to be. I have a set of principles that I tried so hard to follow, it’s based on principles of other people that I looked up to . Once na mainstill ko sa sarili ko, masundan ko sya, maging ako yung character na pinapangarap kong maging. Regardless of the material things ha, just myself talaga ayun pag na achieve ko yun and hindi na ko nagvi veer away from those principles, that’s when I could call myself successful I guess.
