Angelo Alba: The Summer Hottie

It’s Summer once again and most of us badly wanted to be in the beach, enjoying the beach, unwinding, escaping the hustle and bustle of the city together with friends and family, but again we are again spending the summer in the four corners of our homes because of the pandemic.

For Angelo, he would’ve love to get on a long road trip with his friend and go to the beach to relax, bond with them, and let go of the stress from work during summer. Most of his  memorable summer experiences are with friends as he really enjoys spending the summer with them whether under the sun or under the stars.

How about you, what’s your dream summer destination and favorite summer memory?

Don’t forget to follow Angelo on his social media accounts, it’s @Angelo.alba101 on instagram for more update about him.

12. Summer is just around the corner, given a chance where would you want to be this summer?

Summer is my favorite season really. If given the chance of the pandemic clearing up, I would love nothing more than to be in the beach right now with my friends and enjoying under the sun then bonding under the stars at night.

13. What do you like most about summer?

What I like most about summer is the vibe it gives of people seem to be more adventurous and less up tight during summer.

14. Most unforgettable summer memory/ies

My most unforgettable summer memory was 4 summers ago where me and my high school friends went to La Union to spend 4 days and 3 nights at my friend's rest house what made it so unforgettable is the bonding moments that happened. We were all still in college and it was our last summer as college students where we were much more care free compared to now a day.

15. Any favorite summer activity?

My favorite summer activity is going on a long road trip with my high school friends where we all get together with no one missing out we do it annually.

16. Which summer vacation spot has the most beautiful spot?

The most beautiful summer spot I have went to is in Nuvali when it was not built up as much as it is now. We would all sneak out go over there at a high spot and there was this some kind of shed where we were able to oversee the city while we had drinks and were able to talk.

17. What was the naughtiest/wildest thing you’ve done so far?

Well, I’ve done a lot of crazy things in my life with some I think I really shouldn’t share but if I were to share one it would be the time when I was in Breckenridge, Colorado I’ve had to many drinks for me to handle at the time and my friends were already decided that they wanted to go home. Our home was located around 10km always so they booked an Uber going back for some odd reason I decided to jump off the Uber while it was running thankfully nothing happened to me so then I ran off back to the bar to get a few more drinks. So going home there were no cabs available and my phone has lost charge already so I had no choice but to walk back to our apartment with the temperature being -7 till know I’m still in shock of how I managed to walk all the way home that night.

18. Any Summer Fantasies?

My summer fantasy is to go on a beach with not much people there and meet someone who I could connect with.

19. Your thoughts on Summer Flings?

My thoughts on summer fling is that I love it. It’s very care free and peaceful you get the feeling that you’re on a honeymoon with a person who just wants to let lose as well. I’ve actually had a couple of summer flings already and I understand that it’s best to be kept on the summer trip itself to not ruin your memory with the person.

20. Any major Turn Ons and Turn Offs?

The turn on for me is that when a person gets to share their true self with me with being genuine is what I want most. The biggest turn off for me is when you don’t put in effort, I understand that we’re all busy but at least a little effort wouldn’t hurt anyone.

21. Best and Worst Thing You’veHear About Yourself?

Best thing that I heard about myself is that I was described as determined in my goals. Worst thing I heard was that I was selfish I consider this to be the worst cause I see myself as the total opposite actually.

Fr. Fiel Pareja Found a New Way to Inspire Others Through TikTok

At the start of 2020, Fr. Fiel Pareja from the Archdiocese of San Fernando, Pampanga, was ordained. The new priest, who was eager to get started on his ministry, had no idea back then that things would not go exactly as he had hoped. He shares, "My ordination happened a month before lockdown due to pandemic. Full of excitement, I was hoping that I would discharge my ministry as a priest with people physically, face-to-face; celebrating Holy Mass and administering the sacraments 'physically' with them.  To my surprise, it didn't happen. God led me to do my priestly ministry with the faithful in a different way and setting which I didn't imagine at first."

"Due to COVID-19, we were all admonished to stay in our houses. The Church reads the 'signs of the times' and wants to be near to her flock during this most difficult time. That’s why, for their spiritual nourishment, online celebration of the Mass became more relevant. I was celebrating Mass facing a camera having in my heart the people God entrusted to my pastoral care," he continues.

The different setting for Fr. Fiel's ministry turned out to be TikTok, a creative platform that has also become a go-to space for people to share knowledge, information, and even inspiration. Putting his creativity to work, he had the brilliant idea of using his content to connect with people of similar faith, in order to educate and motivate them. "It was on the month of May that I began my TikTok journey. My nephew introduced to me this platform. At first, I was hesitant having in mind 'baka magulat sila nag TikTok ang pari' so I disregard her [sic] persuasion," he says.

Eventually, after further encouragement, he decided to give the app a try. "If you will visit my TikTok account, you'll see my first TikTok video. I did the trending 'wipe it down challenge' with a twist. Having in mind that I am a priest, I incorporated a little liturgical catechism: Changing my vestment into different liturgical colors. My goal then was to educate the people about it," he shares. "I didn't expect that my content will be received wholeheartedly. The rest is history."

Fr. Fiel surprised many people, who never expected to see a priest on TikTok. As his videos went viral and reached an even larger audience, his follower began to ask for guidance, intercession, and motivation. By posting prayers, reflections, and even tips for taking care of one's mental health, he has been able to use his content to make followers on the app feel that they are not alone in these challenging times.

For Fr. Fiel, in times like these, TikTok and social platforms are gifts that need to be utilized. "Social platform plays an important role during this worldwide health crisis. Through it, we can reach out to one another and can assure each one that they are not alone in their journey," he says.

'The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition' Sends Two Candidates Home In Action-Packed Second Episode

“The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition" returned with another exciting episode on Monday, March 29, on One Sports.

Martial arts legends Georges St-Pierre and Renzo Gracie appeared in the episode and participated in a difficult physical task with the candidates. Catcha Group Co-Founder and Group CEO Patrick Grove later joined ONE Championship Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong and Advisor Niharika Singh in the boardroom.

Physical Challenge: Fort Siloso Skywalk on Sentosa Island

For the physical challenge, candidates had to rappel down an 11-story structure and quickly climb back up via rope ladder. The team with the shortest combined time from all candidates would earn a victory celebration at Bar Square and receive an advantage in the next business challenge.

St-Pierre and Gracie surprised the cast by performing the task first, and Task Captain Dom Lau briefed the group shortly afterward.

Candidates from both teams experienced difficulty rappelling down the skywalk and struggled to maneuver their way up the dangling ladder. Japanese candidate Sho Takei struggled with his fear of heights but ultimately willed himself through the challenge.

Despite Sho's tough time, his teammates pulled through, and Team Valor captured the victory behind a strong group effort.

Business Challenge: Seven-Day Social Media Campaign

Teams had to create an engaging seven-day social media campaign, choosing between influencers Yumika Hoskin and Justin Bratton to promote Andaz Singapore's designer hotel experience. Because Team Valor won the physical challenge, the group had first pick.

With Filipino candidate Louie Sangalang as Project Manager for Team Valor, the unit mostly worked together in harmony while preventing Clinton Tudor from disrupting the productivity. Meanwhile, Eugene Chung's inexperience as a leader for Team Conquest resulted in a disorganized mess.

Both teams delivered solid presentations, but it quickly became clear which side had created the more robust campaign.

The Pitches

With ONE’s Siyodtong, Singh, and Catcha Group’s Grove examining every aspect of both marketing plans, the atmosphere was intense.

Sho, Kexin Ye, and Monica Millington led the presentation for Team Valor, impressing Sityodtong by combining analytics with creative ideas. However, Grove pointed out the lack of a clear seven-day plan, which the challenge required.

In contrast, Niraj Puran Rao and Paulina Purnomowati presented a clear plan for Team Conquest, but the campaign was bland and unoriginal. Singh criticized Alvin Ang for not contributing to his team enough and Roman Wilson for his PowerPoint design flaws.

With vastly different approaches, both teams headed to the boardroom.

The Boardroom: Double-Elimination

Team Valor once again emerged victorious in the business challenge. Sityodtong credited the win to a superior concept and praised Millington's ability to build brand identity. Conversely, the ONE Championship CEO sent Ang, Chung, and Wilson from Team Conquest to the chopping block.

Chung delivered a passionate speech about changing his life and the inspiration he took from Sityodtong's own rags-to-riches life story, which moved the ONE CEO.

That kept Chung on the show, but Wilson's passiveness and Ang's lack of contribution saw both of them eliminated from the competition.

“The Apprentice” is one of the biggest non-scripted reality television programs in history, judging the business skills of candidates who are competing for a job offer under a high-profile CEO. It has aired in more than 120 countries. The first season of “The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition” consists of 13 episodes and will be seen in the Philippines on Thursdays, 8:50 pm on AXN cable network and on Mondays at 9 p.m. on One Sport.

Markki Stroem Goes All Out for Birthday Shoot, Launches Own Clothing Line.

One of our favorite guy, Markki Stroem marks his birthday last March 21 by fulfilling one of his dreams, doing a shoot just wearing his birthday suit on top of a mountain.

Posted on his Instagram account, Markki posed all naked for the shoot with the theme "Adam in Paradise", he reminisced his high school days wherein he used to have a safe space where he can just run in the wild, naked on top of a mountain staring at the city lights.

Markki considered this shoot as a dream come true,  capturing him in his safe space with nothing on. "Capturing this safe space in its purest form... Calm" he said.

In his second post entitled "Adams Temptation", Markki rekindled his younger days with siblings Eirik and Kai along with their father climbing up the very steep hill and reaching the top with a view of Manila Skyline that was so rewarding for them.

"Gratitude. We, oftentimes, take this for granted. I am thankful for my wonderful family and the company I keep. It doesnt matter how many times you fall, its about picking yourself up, and coming out of it triumphant" Markki said on his post.

The last of the trilogy is "Adam Leaves Paradise", here Markki shares that everyone must learn from their past mistakes and learn to live and to love.

"Let us learn from past experiences and dream of future endeavors… But, as much as we all want to look to the Past to find answers, sometimes it is better to just Live in the moment. Always Love in the Now. Live and Love. Do not allow people to tell you how to live your life. After all, YOU are the son of ADAM. Yes, he made mistakes and fell for temptations, but he also found Family, Adventure, Purpose and most of all LOVE." he shared on his last post.

Markki has always been bold and daring, he is not the type of artist that sets his limitations as he is the type that go beyond what is expected of him. He already bared skin in his past projects and he doesn't have issues with showing off everything as he grew in Europe where everyone seems to be open about it,

Speaking of being bold, Markki also made a bold move by launching his own clothing line called "EVRY" that was launched early this March, the clothing line markets more shirts that is fit for everyone whether they are using it for work, for workout, or for everyday use.

EVRY uses their own type of fabric called FLO Fabric that is designed to move with you, it comes in different colors and will come out this Summer 2021.

Work It Out with Angelo Alba

Like what we always do here in Bigbeezbuzz every month we always get to check every guy's fitness portfolio, from what’s their favorite workout routine, the diet that they follow, it’s more than just what they show on social media.

For Angelo, being fit is a lifestyle despite his busy schedule and the pandemic he still manages to find time to squeeze in his work out for at least five times a week specially when he is at home and gyms are limited.

Aside from working out, one major factor for Angelo in keeping his well-toned body is through what he eats, having a balanced diet is as important as exercising. He makes sure that everything that he eats are healthy and just enough for him and also, he keeps himself hydrated at all times by drinking at least half a gallon of water that’s at least 2 litters of water to keep him energized all day.

  1. 1. How do you keep yourself in shape?

I keep myself in shape by constantly exercising for at least 5 days a week, but what is most important to me is tracking what I eat, making sure that it is healthy and that I reach and not go over my daily calorie intake.

Water is also very important in my daily routine to keep in shape I make sure that I drink at least a half-gallon of water a day.

  1. 2. Favorite workout routine?

My favorite workout routine would be chest day, since I feel like this is the body part where I am most strong at. Whenever I work out my chest, I feel my whole upper body pumped throughout the whole day.

  1. 3. Do you have any special diet that you follow?

I used to be very strict with my diet where I make sure that I barely consume fat and carbs, but as my fitness journey went on, I realized that carbs were not the enemy and that it would actually even help you at your work outs. Learning that carbs wasn’t a problem my diet now would only be making sure I consume enough grams of protein matching to my body weight in pounds and also making sure that I don’t go over or under my daily calorie intake.

  1. 4. Favorite part of your body?

My favorite part of my body is my chest since I this the part where I am strongest at and also since I could bench press heavier than most people in the gym.

  1. 5. Part of your body that needs improvement?

I would say that my calves is the part that I should improve the most in it’s not as proportionate than I want it to be, but I’ll continue to work hard in order to improve it day by day.

  1. 6. Tips you can give to people who want to get fit as well this 2021?

Take it one day at a time and don’t expect results over night attaining your dream body would be a process so embrace the grind pick up the lessons given and learn from them. Determination would be the most important trait that you would need to have since there would be a lot of disappointments and temptations. Comparing yourself to another person would not help as well our bodies adapt differently so just keep in mind that slow progress is still progress.
