The Arellano Chiefs escaped the late run of the Lyceum Pirates to take a 78-75 victory. The Chiefs had a smooth sailing first half, leading 17-11 at the end of the first quarter and extending it to a 36-29 lead at the end of the half.
But going to the second half the Pirates became more aggressive as they were able to outscore the Chiefs to tie the game at 55-all at the end of the third period. The Pirates almost completed a come from behind victory, but Jiovani Jalalon saved the game for the chiefs again scoring 15 big points in the final ten minutes of action.
Jiovani Jalalon took the driver seat again for the Chiefs as he scored 33 points, while Lervin Flores and Kent Salado added 15 and 13 points respectively. On the side of the Pirates, Jasper Ayaay topped the scoring with 18 points, followed by Edcor marata with 15 points, Mike Nzeusseu had a double-double 14 points and 17 rebounds.

The JRU Heavy Bombers swept away the San Beda Red Lions in the elimination round sending them in their first losing streak since 2014, the Heavy Bombers completely dominated the Red Lions from start to finish to keep their final four hopes still alive.
The Geavy Bombers bombarded the Red Lion's den early in the game taking a huge 33-18 lead in the opening period. In the second period the lead continues to grow as JRU build a solid 56-34 lead to end the first half, though going into the third period the Red Lions were able to stop the lead from growing as they were able to tie the output of JRU 23-all to end the third still down 79-57.
In the final period San Beda tried to trim down the lead of the Heavy Bombers, but to no avail they still weren't able to match the hot outside shooting of the Heavy Bombers having a 57.89% shooting rate beyond the three point area against the 27.78% of San Beda.
Teytey Teodoro topped the scoring for JRU with 26 points, while Javee Mocon had a season high 28 points for San Beda.

The chance for the defending champions Letran Knight to defend their title is still alive after they defeated one of the top 4 team Perpetual Help Altas 69-63.
It was a tight opening period for Letran and Perpetual ending the period tied at 13, in the second period the Knights were able to pull away after outscoring the Altas 26-11 to take a 39-24 lead at the half.
Moving to the second half the Altas were able to turn things around as they outscore the Knights 23-15 to cut the deficit down 47-54 in the third period. In the final period the Altas were to cut the lead of Letran down to 63-64, but the Knights were able to recover to make it a more comfortable lead.
Rey Nambatac led the Knight with 26 points, John Quinto added 12 points, and Jom Sollano and Jerrick Ballanza contributed 11 points. Bright Akhuetie topped the stats line for the Altas with 15 points and 13 rebounds, Jeffrey Coronel added 12 points.
