The EAC Brigadiers outlast the San Sebastian Staglets in overtime 81-74. The Brigadiers were able to control the first half of the game takng a 38-31 lead, but going to the second half the Staglets were able to stage a comeback taking a 54-51 lead in the third, luckily Kerby Dulatre was able to save the Brigadiers from the Staglets to force an overtime.
In the overtime period, the Brigadiers were quick to grab the lead a 72-67 lead, as the Staglets started to struggle as they were only able to score 7 points in the overtime against the 14 points of the Brigadiers.
Maui Cruz top scored for the Brigadiers with 32 points, Kerby Dulatre and Angelo Beduria added 16 and 12 points respectively. Daniel Rodriguez and Brian Pelias led the Staglets n losing efforts with 19 and 18 points each, while Jerico Isidro added 10 points and 18 rebounds.

The JRU Light Bombers defeated the Letran Squires 61-54. The Light Bombers started the game on a high note taking an early 20-15 lead in the opening period, but going to the second period, JRU looked like they ran out of bombs as they were only able to score 9 to give the Squires the chance to take over the lead at 30-28.
In the third both squad struggled to score, though the Squires were still able to end the third on top 39-37. In the final period the Light Bombers were able to make a comeback after outscoring the Squires 24-15.
Benedict Buno top scored for JRU with 17 points, Toby Agustin added a double-double 15 points and 12 rebounds, while Lloyd Sta Maria contributed 10 points, On the side of Letran, Keifer Cordero led the scoring with 10 points, while Miguel Villanueva led the rebounding with 15 points.

The Lyceum Junior Pirates survived the late surge of the Perpetual Help Junior Altas 76-72. The Junior Pirates had a commanding 19-8 lead in the first quarter, extending it up to 37-25 lead at the end of the first half.
But going to the second half the Junior Altas started to make a run and slowly erased the lead of the Junior Pirates down to 47-51 lead at the end of the third. In the fourth period the Lyceum tried to held on to their lead, but the Perps were able to take the lead 64-62 with few ticks left in the game, but thanks to Mclaude Guadana's basket the Junior Pirates were able to survive the scare and force an overtime period.
It was a tight overtime period as both squad went neck and neck in the early part of the OT, but the Junior Pirates had the breaks of the game giving them advantage to take away the win after a 12-8 output in the overtime.
Mclaude Guadana had another breakout game for the Junior Pirates, having 29 points and 15 rebounds, Keith Manuel added 12 points, on the side of the Perps, Jasper Cuevas and Jielo Razon led their team with 19 and 17 points respectively.

Peaking at the right time, last seasons' finals MVP Evan Nelle is slowly getting back to his MVP state as he is now becoming one of the go to guy of San Beda as they beat tough teams like LSGH, Malayan, and just awhile ago as they send the only team that beat them in the first round, the Arellano Braves down to their fourth straight loss after taking an 82-74 victory.
Consistency and Dominance were the key for the Red Cubs victory as they started the game with an early 20-10 lead in the opening period, though going to the second period the Braves were able to keep the game close, trimming the deficit down to 25-28 though the Red Cubs were able to extend the lead to 46-38 to end the first half.
In the Second half the Red Cubs continues to control the game blowing their lead up 57-45, though the Braves were still at it in the game they had a hard as they are committing costly turn overs that allowed San Beda to blow up their lead as high as 20 points in the final period.
Evan Nelle had 19 big points to lead San Beda, Robi Nayve added 16 points, while Sam Abuhijleh scored a double-double 10 points and 10 rebounds. On the other side, MVP front runner Guilmer Dela Torre had 20 points to lead the Braves in losing efforts, Lars Sunga added 11 points.

The Malayan Red Robins completes a come from behind victory over the LSGH Greenies 75-59, to take over the number seat and to steal the twice to beat advantage from the Arellano Braves as the tournament nears the final four.
The Red Robins started the game slow giving LSGH a green light to get off to a hot 22-11 start in the first quarter, in the second period the Red Robins tried to make a rally as they were able to trim the lead of the Greenies down to 30-36 at the end of the second period.
In the second half the the Red Robins continues to erase the lead of the Greenies until they were able to take over the lead at 43-42, at that point the Red Robins never looked back as they started to control the game and dominate the Greenies taking their lead up as high as 19 points in the final period.
Brian Lacap led the Red Robins with 24 points, that 6 out of 9 in the three point zone, Jasper Salenga and Michael Enriquez added 15 and 10 points. Troy Mallillin and Joel Cagulangan on the other hand led the Greenies with 16 and 15 points with 9 rebounds each.
