The Far Eastern University Tamaraws shrugs off their cold start to complete a 63-60 come from behind victory over the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons.
The Tamaraws had a sloppy start to begin the game, letting the Maroons take advantage of the situation to pull away big time 28-8 in the opening period. Though FEU was able to climb back into the game taking a 19 -8 second quarter output to cut the lead of UP down to 27-36.
UP continues to collapse in the game as the Tamaraws charge became more aggressive only letting them score 10 points to open the second half to finally tie the game at 46.
Going to the final period the Tamaraws were able to snatch the lead and started to pull away to open the final period, establishing a 57-48 lead with few minutes left in the game, though UP tried to came close at 63-60 the Tamaraws were still able to close the game with a win to make it 8-2.
Raymar Jose led the charge for the Tamaraws as he produced another impressive 20 points and 12 rebound output to carry FEU past UP, meanwhile Jett Manuel top scored for the Maroons with 16 markers and 8 rebounds.

The Adamson University kept their final four hopes alive after they fend off the gritty UE Red Warriors 79-71.
Adamson soared high early in the game taking a 17-10 lead, they even extended it to a 23-14 advantage before the first quarter end at 24-20.
Moving to the second period, UE was able to change the tempo of the game as they were able to snatch the lead after they take an early 14-0 run to kick off quarter number 2, though Adamson was quick to bounce back and stop the bleeding to end the first half tied at 40.
The Falcons were able to take the momentum back on their side after they were able to regain the lead at 54-43, UE at that point struggled to catch up with the hot shooting of Adamson as they go down again 69-58 at the end of the third.
The Red Warriors made an early 8-0 run to cut the lead of Adamson down to 4, 66-70. But Adamson was quick enough to bounce back to counter it with their own to push their lead back to a 79-69, to secure the win on their side.
Pape Sarr had a huge 25 points and 15 rebounds output in this game, while Jerrick Ahanmisi added 17 markers for the Falcons as they secured the solo fourth spot with a 5-5 record.
