The first round of elimination wrapped up yesterday and here's an update of who's who are leading in the MVP race of the 79th season of the UAAP. As expected La Salle's Ben Mbala topped the stats line for the first round taking a whooping 95.2857 Statistical Points, at far second is Adamson University's Papi Sarr with 71.4286 SPs, Green Archer's star forward Jeron Teng placed a far third with 58.3333 SPs, FEU's versatile bigman Raymar Jose ranked fourth with 54.0000 Sps. and rounding off the top 5 is UP's Paul Desiderio with 53.8571 Sps.
The second round of elimination will kick off this weekend at the Mall of Asia Arena, stay tuned for the final and full schedule tomorrow.
