#NCAA92 The Finals Game 2: San Beda Red Lions Takes Their 20th NCAA Basketball Title


San Beda's REDemption 2.0 campaign paid off as they copped their 20th Basketball title in the NCAA at the expense of the Arellano University Chiefs 83-73 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. 

The road to their 20th title wasn't easy for San Beda as the Chiefs were able to begin the game strong taking a 25-18 lead in the opening quarter, but the Red Lions were able to roar back in the second period as they outperformed Arellano after a 27-15 quarter output to end the first half 45-40. 

The Chiefs tried to close in and make a comeback in the third period as they were able to cut off the lead of San Beda down to 3, 60-63 at the end of the third. But going into the final period the bus of Arellano looked like they ran out of gas, as the Red Lions were able to pull away in the final minutes of the game to secure the victory and reclaim the crown. 

Arnaud Noah was named as the Finals MVP having an 18 points and 11 rebounds game two output to lead the Red Lions in their victory, Acee Soberano and Robert Bolick added 16 and 13 points, Javee respectively, while Javee Mocon and Davon Potts both had 10 points for San Beda. 

Jiovani Jalalon led the Chiefs for the last time though for a losing effort as he scored 19 points and 10 assists, Allen Enriquez added 14 points, while Zach Nicholls contributed 12 points. 

San Beda Red Lions 83:  Noah 18, Soberano 16, Bolick 13, Potts 10, Mocon 10, Sara 7, Presbitero 5, Bonsubre 2, Adamos 2. 

Arellano Chiefs 73: Jalalon 19, Enriquez 14, Nicholls 12, Canete 8, Gumaru 6, Meca 5, Cadavis 4, Salado 4, Flores 1.
