The National University Bulldogs kept their final four hopes alive after they stunned the Far Eastern University Tamaraws in a come from behind 87-84 victory.
NU was able to outperform the Tamaraws in the end game despite being down in the first three periods, they were able to erase a 15 point defecit to emerge victorious in this match to put the final four chances of FEU in peril.
Issa Gaye led the Bulldogs with 24 points and 11 rebounds, JJay Alejandro added 17 points and Anton Joson gave away 13 markers.
Despite scoring 21 points each, Arvin Tolentino and Ron Dennison wasn't able to save the Tamaraws from the impending doom, FEU dropped to their worst record since the final four format was adapted in the UAAP.
