Arjo Atayde, Julia Montes goes action packed in "Topakk"

 

It's an action packed 50th Metro Manila Film Festival for Arjo Atayde and Julia Montes as they star in the movie "Topakk" or internationally known as "Triggered". 

Topakk follows the story of Miguel (Arjo Atayde) an ex special action force officer who suffers from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or PTSD after one of their missions failed and left him with the severe mental health condition that causes him to go rogue when triggered. 

After getting dismissed from service, Miguel then became a security guard for a warehouse, there he meets Weng (Julia Montes) along with her brother Bogs (Kokoy de Santos) after they broke into the warehouse to hide from the officers hired by the cartel that are hunting them. 

Heeding the call of duty, Miguel refuses to give the two to the cartel and as things gets heated, Miguel snapped and started to go rogue and fought the armed group along with Weng and Bogs. 

Will the three of them survive the night? Or will they fall into the cartel's hands? 

Topakk is directed by Richard V. Somes, produced by Nathan Studios and Strawdogs Studio Productions, the movie already premiered at the 78th Cannes Film Festival and at the 76th Locarno Film Festival. 

Also starring in the movie are Sid Lucero, Kokoy de Santos, Bernard Palanca, Cholo Barretto, Vin Abrenica, Paolo Paraiso, with a special participation of Enchong Dee. 

It will be an action-packed Christmas with Topakk in cinemas on December 25.
