The inlfux of Pinoy BL series is not yet over, joining in the BL game is the country's oldest movie outfit Regal Films as they launch their digital channel for their digital content headlined by their first series "Ben x Jim" starring Teejay Marquez and Jerome Ponce.
Ben x Jim will run for 7 episodes starting October 15, each episode will have a 25 minute running time full of love and friendship. The titles of each episodes will be based on RomCom Movie acts and each episode will be available every Thursday night on Regal Entertainment's official Youtube Channel.
Joining Teejay and Jerome in Ben x Jim are Sarah Edwards, Johannes Rissler, Kat Galang, and Ron Martin Angeles. Directed by Easy Ferrer.
Set in the time of pandemic, this is the story of Ben (Teejay Marquez), a 23-year-old graduating student, and Jim (Jerome Ponce), a 24-year-old self-made car shop owner, who were childhood friends and next door neighbors. Ben hid his true feelings for Jim, and it became a dilemma for him when he learned that Jim is returning home after being gone for years, to stay for the ECQ. Jim discovers Ben’s real sexuality. Though there are still remnants of what they were as friends, it is evident that much has changed between them. Will this be the end for them? Or will truth set them free and give them a chance at happiness?
