This Wednesday, before the game two of the Dream Match between the Ateneo Blue Eagles and De La Salle Green Archers at the the Araneta Coliseum. The UAAP will be having a recognition and awarding for athletes who participated in different international competition and also they will be awarding the Basketball Tournament standouts.
For the Men's Basketball Tournament, Ben Mbala of DLSU will be awarded the Most Valuable Player of the season for having the highest accumulated Statistical Points in the league with 92.4286 SPs. Meanwhile, Aljun Melecio from DLSU also bagged the Rookie of the Year award, having a total of 36.5714SPs. Ben Mbala also leads the Mythical Five selection for season 79 along with Jeron Teng, Raymar Jose, Paul Desiderio, and Thirdy Ravena.
