The only family drama movie in the Metro Manila Film Festival, Kabisera had a grand premiere night last December 20, 2016 at the SM Megamall Cinema 7. The one and only Superstar, Nora Aunor led the star-studded red carpet premiere, people from different industries graced the premiere to show their support not only for Ate Guy, but also for Kabisera.
Many of the attendees were excited to watch the movie, as the topic of the film was very timely and relevant today, people look forward on seeing the David versus Goliath type of story as Nora Aunor's character Mercy, tries to sēk justice for the tragedy that is destroying her family.
The film also stands as a statement for a family’s quest for justice and their journey to regain dignity by sticking and standing up for one another. The whole cast and crew whose passion and heart in letting the public know and understand the importance of family were all present to celebrate and enjoy the fruits of their labor.
