In the first game of the midweek games of the UAAP at the Araneta Coliseum, the University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers bagged the first twice to beat advantage after defeating the Adamson University Falcons 78-63.
UST showed total dominance over the Falcons as they did not give any chance for Adamson to threaten their run leading 21-14 in the first period, the Tigers continues to etend their lead ending the first half at 37-26.
Kevin Ferrer again showed he's still the main guy for the Tigers giving 25 points for UST, adding to that is Louie Vigil, on the other hand Pape Sarr and Nico Capote combined 22 points for Adamson.

In the second ga,e the sloppy De La Salle University were able to over come the greittty UP Fighting Maroons 72-68 to keep their final four hopes alive.
La Salle started the game with a bang leading the Maroons with a huge 19-6 deficit at the end of the first period, but as they entered the second period the hot Green archers suddenly became cold and sloppy letting UP to take advantage to trim the lead down to just a single point to end the first half 26-27.
After scoring only 8 points in the second period, La Salle still wasn't able to shift the momentum back on their side as the Fighting Maroons already able to take the lead to end the third period 52-49.
A Technical called on UP's Pierro Longa due to Uniform Mishap sparked the comeback for the Green Archers in the fourth period, though UP still fighting the Green Archers were already able to secure their lead and their win
Jeron Teng and Prince Rivero combined 38 points for La Salle in this game, meanwhile Jett Manual and Dave Moralde combined 29 points for UP.
