In first game of the Sunday gameday of the UAAP at the Araneta Coliseum, the NU Bulldogs captures the fourth spot after defeating the UP Fighting Maroons 75-69.
UP started the game strong taking an 18-13 lead in the first period and 31-28 at the end of the first half, but NU came back to life in the second half getting the lead to end the third period 52-42, in the fourth period UP tried to make a comeback, but already too late as the Bulldogs were already in control of the game.
Gelo Alolino exploded 26 points for NU to stay alive in the game, adding to that is Alfred Aroga's 15 points. On the other side Jett Manuel and Diego Dario combines 26 points as the Fighting Maroons dropped another game.

In the second game, the Ateneo Blue Eagles extends their winning streak to 5 as they trump their bitter rivals De La Salle Green Archers 73-62.
La Salle started the game dominant after leading the Blue Eagles 23-13 to end of the first period, in the second period Ateneo were able to trimmed the lead of the Green Archers to end the first half down 30-35.
In the second half tables were turned as Ateneo were able to capitalize on the foul trouble of the Green Archers as they were able to take a 53-44 lead, in the final period La Salle looked more disorganized giving the Blue Eagles a chance to pull away in the last few minutes of the game.
Von Pessumal and Kiefer Ravena led the Blue Eagles combining 32 points, meanwhile Prince Rivero and Jeron Teng combined 27 points for the Green Archers.
