Telstra In The Philippines?

There are rumors spreading this past few days about a new Telecom Company is soon coming in the Philippines to compete against the two biggest Telcos in the country which is PLDT and Globe, and that Telco is the Australian based telecommunication giant "Telstra".

It is said that Telstra is in talks with San Miguel Corporation, but there's still no final agreement nor certainty if this will push through. In 2012 it was also rumored that Vodafone was also coming to the Philippines also under San Miguel Corporation, but it didn't happened. Stay tuned for more updates regarding the issue

Telstra is the largest telecommunication and media company in Australia which builds and operates telecommunications networks and markets voice, mobile, internet access, pay television and other entertainment products and services, Telstra already has a business here in the country, but it is only a call center/customer support center for their Australian customers.
