UAAP Season 75 Opening Game Results (July 14)

The Far Eastern University Tamaraws escape past the University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers as the Tamaraws came back at the last minutes of the game, Terrence Romeo tried to trim down the lead of the Tigers after 2 consecutive baskets early on the 4th quarter, The tams took the lead with less than 4 minutes left in the game at 65-64 courtesy of a Three Pointer from RR Garcia and an easy basket from Mike Tolomia. on the last 2 minutes both team exchanges plays and after a 3 point play by Jeric Teng to break the deadlock at 69-all, A Goal Tending Violation was called to UST's Kevin Ferrer after he touched the rim of the ring without the ball touching it. and almost less than 30 seconds left on the game a steal from Mike Tolomia and a fast break lay up from RR Garcia seals the game 73-72




Season 73 MVP RR Garcia led the Tamaraws in winning their opening game after producing 21 big points, Center while Center Anthony Hargrove and 2010 Rookie Of the Year Terrence Romeo produced 14 and 13 points respectively, On the other side Karim Abdul and Jeron Teng spearheaded the scoring of the Tigers producing 24 and 18 points each.

The National University Bulldogs opens up their Hosting year with a bang after they wallop the Hapless University of the East Red Warriors 90-55, In the 1st quarter UE shows signs of life after leading 15-13, but as the succeeding quarters goes NU dominated and easily disarmed and defeated UE. Javillonar leads the Bulldogs in scoring, While Sumang carried his team producing 21 points.

The University Athletics Association of the Philippines unveiled their 75th season yesterday at the Mall Of Asia Arena at the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City, This season's Host The National University Bulldogs led the opening ceremony.
