After an 6 point run by former Rookie of the Year Carlo Lastimosa at the end of the 3rd quarter where Saint Benilde took over the lead 41-43, but after that a foul and back to back turn overs by Saint benilde cost them to lose the Lead, San Beda's defense definitely step up in the last quarter limiting the scoring of Lastimosa but also the whole team, CSB closed in to San Beda with 2 minutes left in the quarter at 54-51.
Kyle Pascual, Rome Dela Rosa, Jake Pascual, and Baser Amer lead the Red Lions in this Low Scoring ballgame producing 12,11, and 10 points each, while on the other hand Carlo Lastimosa solely carried the Blazers producing 21 points, San Beda bounced back after their sorry loss against the Perps they now share the lead with JRU, San Sebastian, and Perpetual Help all with 3-1 win loss record while CSB dropped their 3rd game after upsetting Letran on their last game.
On the second game the Letran Knights finally ended their losing streak after they defeated the Mapua Cardinals 66-60, Kevin Alas again proves that he is the Brightest star in Letran's roster after he produces 21 points to lead the Knights in Bouncing back in the Winning board, While Mike Parala and Kenneth Ighalo combined 15 and 14 points each for Mapua in losing efforts. Letran is now tied with Mapua, Arellano and Saint Benilde with 2-3 win loss record.
