The FEU Tamaraws skip past the Strong defense of the DLSU Green Archers after the tamaraws defeated the Green Archers in a low scoring ball game 48-46 in the continuation of the 75th season of the UAAP after games yesterday were suspended due to typhoon Ferdie.
The Tamaraws started strong in the first quarter leading the Green Archers 12-6 but so much foul puts the tamaraws in Penalty earl in the first quarter that gave chance to the Green Archers to closed in at the end of the 1st quarter at 15-11, In the Second and Third Quarter the Green Archers showed solid defense that limited the Tams in scoring also too many air balls that caused them the 2nd quarter ending the first half 23-26 in favor of the Green Archers,
The next 2 quarters are a tight race for the both squad and at almost end of the 4th quarter La Salle leads FEU with 44-41 but with Terrence Romeo's Charity Bucket and Carl Cruz scoring from a jumper tied the game at 44-44 all, FEU took the lead with Hargrove splitting his freethrows but DLSU's Center Norbert Torres took back the lead bucketing two of his free baskets giving them a 1 point lead against the tams. Mike Tolomia scores for the tams 34 seconds to go to take a 2point lead over the Green Archers and eventually winning the game.
Terrence Romeo was the only player to be in the double digit mark producing 10 points for the Tams, 4 players of DLSU scored 8 points each namely Yutien Andrada, Almond Vostros, Norbert Torres, and Jovet Mendoza.
This made the Tams the only undefeated team so far for this season as the archers gained their first loss.
