We are now on our 20th Misters of Filipinas Candidates and looks like all is set for the coronation night on September 13 in Negros Oriental, the sketch of the crown by crown maker Manny Halasan has been out and the the stage is sketch his already revealed. Anyway, let's meet Mister #20 from the province of Isabela, Felixander Dalupang.
Felix is 21 years old and stands at 6'0 flat. He is a graduate of Culinary Arts, baking and pastry, that specializes in different cuisines, but before he became a chef Felix was a Broadcast Communication student at the University of the East where he was also a student athlete for their Tae Kwon Do team in the UAAP.
Felix says quitting the sports and shifting of course was a change of heart, he realized that he was feels better in the kitchen rather than be a broadcaster and a jin. As an aspiring chef he considers his expertise in rotisserie or meat roasting, but his specialty dish always go down from where he came from, the pansit cabagan of Isabela.
Growing up in the province Felix was exposed to the farm he also shared that when he was younger he would sell off vegetables in the market and harvesting them from their neighbors farm.
The province of Isabela is the second largest province in the Philippines when it comes to land area, the province is also known to be the center of agriculture in the country because of the unmatched prowess of their people when it comes to producing crops like Rice and Corn, they are the second biggest producer of rice and they are the top producers of corn in the country.
Aside from Agriculture, Isabela is also known for their tourist spots like the century old churches, the rich forestlands, mountain tracks, and beaches. But definitely what Isabela must be proud of is their people, the resiliency and strength that no matter what catastrophe struck them they will rebuild themselves and fight again.

Misters of Filipinas
Felix considers joining Misters of Filipinas as a bigger platform to spread his advocacies that is centered in Fitness and Health, he believes that by joining this pageant he would reach more people to share to them his knowledge about it.
As a graduate of culinary arts he believes that a healthy body starts in the kitchen it is all about what we eat and what our body consumes and also as an athlete he believes that the physical well being of a person should be on top of the priority to keep our oneself heathy and fit.
For Felix a characteristic that a Misters of Filipinas should have is Humility, he believes that a Misters should be humble enough and knows how to keep his two feet on the ground no matter what success he achieved.

Body Talk
During this pandemic, Felix admits that he quite let go of himself to the point that he really went out of shape and his weight reached 90kgs, but joining Misters he was able to redeem himself back as he immediately shredded of those extra weight and go down to 77kgs.
He said that being a Tae Kwon Do jin since high school, losing weight is not new to him as they were required in their sport to have that definite weight classification that requires them either to lose or gain weight to be able to compete.
But for him the best way to control the weight aside from exercise is really the right diet, he went on a low carb and high protein diet. For his work out since most of the gyms are closed he opts to get alternative home work out routines and even equipment for him to use.
Being a chef, cooking good food and indulging on it is not that difficult for him, he said that if he eats too much he needs to burn them off immediately, there's no time to be lazy for him it's all about discipline.
