The Letran Knights bagged the championship back in season 91 ending the reign of their bitter rivals and then 6 peat seeking San Beda Red Lions, but three years after the championship experience the Knights struggled to make it back in the final four as they missed it for two seasons already after their last title.
Last season they finished the eliminations with a 9-9 record triple tied with San Sebastian and Arellano, they defeated Arellano in the first knockout match but eventually they were knocked out by San Sebastian in the second knockout match for the last final four spot, finishing fifth over all in the tournament.
The Knights lost one of their most vital player in Rey Nambatac last year, although the Knights were able to keep the core of their line up intact with Jeo Ambohot, Jeremiah Taladua, Christian Balagasay, Jerrick Balanza, John Quinto, and John Calvo the question remains on who will lead this team?
Will the new leader come from the veterans or will he come from the newbies as Letran gets a handful of new players such as Fran Yu, Larry Muyang, Christian Fajarito, Jason Celis, Christian Fajarito, or Edson Batiller?
The Knights is under the supervision of Jeff Napa.
