The FEU Baby Tamaraws failed to secure the twice to beat advantage after they falter behind the Ateneo Blue Eaglets in a tight 70-75 game at the end of the elimination round.
The Blue Eaglets took over an early commanding lead to dictate the pace of the game, taking a 23-18 lead in the opening quarter. moving to the next quarter the Baby Tamaraws were able to equalize the output of the Eaglets to keep the game close at 37-41.
But going to the second half though the Baby Tams were able to still keep the game close, they still couldn't take over the lead, finishing the third period 58-61 and finishing the fourth quarter with a 12-14 output to give Ateneo a chance to get the twice to beat on Tuesday.
Joaquin Manuel top scored for the Blue Eaglets with 18 points, Jason Credo and SJ Belangel added 13 points each. Rhon Abarrientos led the Baby Tamaraws with 14 points followed by LJ Gonzales with 13 points and Jack Gloria added 11 points.

The UST Tiger Cubs ended the campaign of UE Junior Warriors after a 94-81. Miguel Ratuiste led the Tiger Cubs with 25 points and 15 rebounds followed by Inand Fornillos with 18 points and 15 rebounds. Dustin Angeles and Cruz Gonzalez led the Junior Warriors with 23 and 22 points respectively.
UE ends the season at 3-11 while USt stays alive in the final four race as they will still face the DLSZ Junior Archers that eliminated the UPIS Junior Maroons after an 82-69 victory. Rob Mariano led Zobel with 23 points, followed by Jan Sobrevega with17 points and Martin Romero with 16 points and 18 rebounds.
Juan Gomez De Liano, Ralph Labao, and Matt Santiago all scored 12 points for the Junior Maroons as they ended the season with a 5-9 record.
In the final elimination match even though they were stripped off of all their wins the Adamson Baby Falcons showed that they are still the dominant team this season after squeaking past the NU bullpups 70-68.
Carl Tamayo led the Baby Falcons with 13 points and 13 rebounds, technically the win is Adamson's 13th win, but the 11 wins were forfeited leaving them at the bottom of the standings with 2-12 record.
Meanwhile John Lloyd Clemente top scored for the now #1 team NU Bullpups after producing 21 points in this game.
The final four begins after the two play off match to determine who will get the last twice to beat advantage and last final four spot.
