The Far Eastern University Lady Tamaraws were able to bounce back after their straight lost against La Salle last Sunday after they beat up the Adamson Lady Falcons in straight sets 25-12, 25-19, and 25-16.
Bernadette Pons led the Lady Tamaraws again with 15 points(14 spikes, 1 Ace), while Remy Palma added 13 points (7 spikes, 4 blocks, and 2 aces). On the side of the Lady Falcons Bernadette Flora led the way with 9 points( 7 spikes and 2 aces).
The Lady Tamaraws moves up to 1-1 while the Lady Falcons falters down to 0-2.
In the second game, the National U Lady Bulldogs overpowers the Ateneo Lady Eagles in four sets 25-17, 25-13, 19-25, and 29-27.
Jaja Santiago scored a huge 26 points (19 spikes, 6 blocks, and 1 ace) to lead the Lady Bulldogs, while Bea De Leon top scored for the Lady Eagles with 14 points (9 spikes, 4 blocks, and 1 ace).
The Lady Bulldogs goes 2-0, while the Lady Eagles drops to 1-1.
