The Tigresses feasted on the hapless Lady Falcons after they defeated the latter in three straight sets 25-13, 25-12, 25-9. The Tigresses had an easy run in this game to move up 2-3, as the Lady Falcons had their worst game so far to drop their fifth straight loss to remain win-less in the competition.
Cherry Rondina led the Tigresses with 15 points, while Jemma Galanza scored 7 points to lead the still struggling Lady Falcons.
In the second game, the Lady Tamaraws stunned the former league leading Lady Bulldogs in four sets 25-20, 25-13, 22-25, and 25-20 to tie them at 3-2.
Toni Rose Basas returns with a bang after being benched out on their last game, Basas scored 20 points 17 of which came from attacks to lead the Lady Tamaraws. Bernadeth Pons had another A game after delivering in almost all of the skills department, scoring 18 points, 15 attacks, 2 aces, 1 block, 20 excellent digs, and 15 excellent reception.
Jaja Santiago on the other hand was the lone bright spot in the Lady Bulldogs as she scored 20 points, 16 from attacks and 4 from blocks.
