In the first game of the Friday triple header of the 92nd season of the NCAA, the Lyceum of the Philippines University Pirates stunned the defending champions Colegio De San Juan De Letran Knights 75-72.
Though it was a close start between Lyceum and Letran, the Latter still able to take the lead to end the opening period up 20-14. Moving to the second period scoring drought hits both squad though Lyceum still able to keep their lead 39-34. Letran again struggled in the third period as they only scored 13 points, because of this Lyceum were able to extend their lead up 55-47.
Entering the final 10 minutes of regulation Lyceum is trying to secure their victory securing their lead up until the final two minutes of the game, but entering the last two minutes the Defending Champions came back to life as they were able to and was able to trim the lead of Lyceum down to a single point, but free throws from Reymar Caduyac sealed the win for Lyceum.
Reymar Caduyac and Mike Nzeusseu topped the scoring for Lyceum both having 17 points, Japer Ayaay and Wilson Baltazar added 12 and 10 points each. The Pirates moves up to 4-5 record.
On the side of the defending champs, Rey Nambatac led the scoring having 22 points, Jerrick Balanza and Mcjour Luib added 14 and 11 points respectively, Letran drops their 3rd game

In the second game, the San Beda Red Lions kept their record unblemished after edging out the San Sebastian Golden Stags 87-77
Though it was a rough start in the first period the Red Lions still able to take the lead 27-23 at the end of the first period. In the second period San Sebastian struggled to find the basket as they gave the Red Lions the chance to extend their lead up 45-38 at the end of the first half.
In the second half San Sebastian continues to struggle as they were only able to score 15 points in the third, while the Red Lions showed dominance having 23 points to end the third period 68-53,
San Sebastian tried to stage a comeback in the final period, but it didn't materialized as the Red Lions were able to maintain the lead to remain undefeated.
Donald Tankoua and Davon Potts led the Red Lions having 20 points and 13. On the side of San Sebastian, Regille Ilagan and Allyn Bulanadi top scored with 20 and 13 points, the Stags goes down to 1-7.

The Arellano Chiefs sends the JRU Heavy Bombers back to the losing column again after beating them 89-69, The Chiefs showed complete mastery over JRU as they dominated them through out the game, they led JRU 20-14 at the end of the first half, and even extended it to a 47-27 lead to end the first half.
In the second half the Heavy Bombers were able to fight back even though the Chiefs already the run away winner not letting their double digit lead dissipate.
Jiovani Jalalon led the Chiefs with 23 points and 7 assists, Kent Salado and Lervin Flores added 13 and 12 points each. Abdel Poutouchi led the Heavy Bombers with 15 points.
