The Malayan Red Robins went3-0 after routing the hapless San Sebastian Staglets 101-45, The Red Robins outscored the Staglets in the second half with a huge 63-26 outing after a close 38-35 first half end. Turn overs was the biggest factor in this game for the Malayan as they were able to score 31 points out of the 37 Turnovers of San Sebastian.
Jasper Salengga, Romuel Junsay,
and Bryan Samudio scored 15 points each in this game for the Red Robins to stay
undefeated. Wendell Binarao was the only player on the side of San Sebastian to
score in double digits with 11 points, Kobe Canoy added 6 points and 11
rebounds as the Staglets remain winless after three games.

The San Beda Red Cubs scored another big win to stay undefeated
in the season as they fend off the EAC-ICA Brigadiers 107-60. The Red Cubs
scored a huge fourth quarter run as they dropped a 32-10 outing to outlast the
sloppy game of the Brigadiers. EAC-ICA’s inside scoring was a no match as they
were out score by San Beda with 30-64.
Team Captain Sam Abuhijleh led
the Red Cubs with a double-double performance 17 points and 13 rebounds, Joshua
Tagala added another double-double 14 points and 10 rebounds as San Beda shared
the top spot with the Malayan Red Robins. Kerby Dulatre and Sean Oriondo led
the Brigadiers scoring 16 and 15 points respectively as they dropped their
third game for the season.

The Arellano Braves makes it 3-0 after outlasting the JRU
Light Bombers 95-74. The Braves held on to their early 19-11 lead to secure the
lead in the upcoming quarters of the game, Arellano continues to command the
game as the Light Bombers struggles in the defensive side as they commit a
total of 35 turn overs giving 28 easy points letting the Braves lead as high as
30 points in the game.
Guilmer Dela Torre top scored
for the Braves with 19 points, Ira Batiller added 7 points and 10 rebounds as
Arellano makes it a three way tie in the top spot qalong with Malayan and San
Beda. On the side of JRU, Toby Agustin led the way with 21 points, while John
Berwite added 10 points as the Light Bombers dropped their third straight game.
The La Salle Greenhills Greenies escaped an almost fourth
quarter collapse against the Perpetual Help Junior Altas 92-81. The LSGH
started strong in the opening quarter with an early huge 32-12 lead over the
Perps, they even extend it to a 49-26 lead at the end of the first half. But
the Junior Altas came back to life entering the final ten minutes of the game
outperforming the Greenies with a 30-15 output, but still it wasn’t enough as
LSGH were still able to hold on to their earlier lead.
Troy Mallillin top scored for
the Greenies with 22 points, Joshua Marcos added 18 points and Unique Naboa
contributed 14 points as LSGH takes their second win in three games. Jielo
Razon was the lone bright spot for the Junior Altas as he top scored with 34
points, as the Perps goes down to 2-1

The Letran Squires defeats the Lyceum Junior Pirates 63-56
to take their second win in the tournament. The Squire had an early 20-7 lead
in the beginning of the game, they even ended the first half with a 28-19 lead.
Even though the Junior Pirates were able
to outscore Letran 37-35 in the second half it wasn’t enough to get even
closer.
Kobe Monte had a double-double performance having 11 points
and 10 rebounds, meanwhile Keifer Corden, Miguel Villanueva, and Kurt Reyson
scored 12 points each for the Squires. On the side of the Junior Pirates Junjun
Cecilio and McLaude Guadana scored 16 and 13 points respectively.
