#NCAA92 Day 7:San Beda and Mapua Stays Undefeated, Lyceum Stun JRU

In the first game of the Friday triple header of the NCAA season 92, the San Beda Red Lions beats up the hapless Saint Benilde Blazers 90-63 to stay on top and still undefeated in the standings.
The Red Lions open up the game red hot as they made a 15-0 run as they take the first period with a huge 24-10 advantage over CSB. Going in to the second period though the Blazers were able to answer the shots of San Beda they still trail behind big time to end the first half still down 40-26.
Entering the second half San Beda again showed their dominance only letting the Blazers score 10 points in the third period extending their lead to 61-36. In the final period the CSB tried to bounce back after a sloppy third, but the Red Lions were unstoppable as they already manage to secure the lead and the game. Turnovers was the biggest set back of CSB in this game having 36 turnovers that the Red Lions turned to 26 points for them.
Davon Potts top scored for the Red Lions in this game having 19 points, Donald Tankoua had his first double-double for the season as he produced 17 points and 17 rebounds. On the side of CSB, Clement Leutcheu scored 17 points and 15 rebounds, while Yankie haruna added 17 points as the Blazers drop their fifth game of the season to stay Winless.

The Oraeme-less Mapua Cardinals survived the threat of the EAC Generals as they stay undefeated after beating them 70-67.
The Cardinals took an early 19-10, but going in to the second period EAC stunned the Cardinals as they were able to erase the lead and even take it 37-36 at the end of the first half. Though in the third period the Cardinals were able to regain the lead 56-53.
The game intensifies in the fourth period as EAC kept the game close not letting the Cardinals pull away, but a free throw by Andrew Estrella sealed the win for the Cardinals.
Mapua Newbie Almel Orquina top scored with 13 points, CJ Isit and Andrew Estrella added 12 points each for the Cardinals. Hamadou Laminou scored 13 points and 17 rebounds for the Generals, while Sidney Onwuberrie, Remy Morada, and Francis Munsayac added 13, 12, and 11 points respectively as the Generals went down 1-3.

The Lyceum Pirates shocked the JRU Heavy Bombers to barge in to the winning column after a come from behind 69-66 victory to cut short the momentum of JRU that just got their first wn on their last game. .
Even though JRU started strong in the game dominating the Pirates in the first period at 16-9, going to the second period the Pirates were able to make it a tight ball game against JRU as they finished it down by two points 27-29.
The second half was the same JRU still holding on to the driver seat extending their lead up to 45-32 midway of the third period, but the Pirates still were able to catch up to end the third 47-45. The fourth quarter was a different story as the Pirates finally took the lead and held on to it as JRU struggles to make baskets in the final stretch of the game.
Mike Nzeusseu scored a big 24 points and 21 rebounds performance, while Adrian Alban added 19 points for Lyceum. On the side of JRU, Ervin Grospe top scored with 16 points and adding to that is Teytey Teodoro with 14 points, Both squads are now at 1-3 record.
