In the first game of the 4th day of the second elimination of the Juniors Basketball of UAAP Season 78, the De La Salle Zobel Junior Archers escape past the gritty UPIS Fighting Maroons 85-74.
The Junior Archers ace guard Aljun Melecio top scored with 22 points, adding to that is Marco Sario with 19 points to secure Zobel the solo 2nd spot with a 9-2 record, On the side of the Junior Maroons, Juan Gomez De Liano, Bryan Lina, and Javier Gomez De Liano combined 47 points as UPIS again failed to sustain their run to drop to 2-9 record still at 7th spot.

In the second game the FEU Baby Tamaraws shoots down the Adamson Baby Falcons in a come from behind 60-55 victory.
The Baby Tamaraws started the game at 8-20, but were able to bounce back in the second period outscoring the Baby Falcons 16-5 to end the first half at 24-25, though the Baby Falcons were able to lead the Baby Tams in the first three quarters it was the end game that pushes FEU-FERN to victory.
Jun Gabane top scored for the Baby Tamaraws with 18 points, meanwhile Kenji Roman remains the go to guy of FEU-FeRN as he scored another double double performance of 12 points and 15 rebounds. On the side of the Baby Falcons, Jayson Celis, Evan Agbong and Raygan Santos combined 46 points for Adamson in losing efforts.
The Baby Tamaraws ties with the Baby Falcons in the 4th and 5th spot as both teams has a 6-5 win-loss record.

The NU Bullpups remains undefeated in the tournament after beating the UST Tiger Cubs 82-58, John Lloyd Clemente, Justine Baltazar and Winderlich Coyoca scored 14, 13, and 10 points respectively for the Bullpups as they kept an unblemished record after 11 games.
Meanwhile on the side of UST, Carl Lacap and Marlon Navarro combined 21 points for the Tiger Cubs as they drop to 3-8 record to remain in the 6th spot.

In the final game, the Ateneo Blue Eaglets easily handed the UE Junior Warriors their 11th straight loss of the season after defeating them 96-58. Jolo Mendoza led the Blue Eaglets with a season high 23 points to keep the defending champions in third place with 7-4 record.
On the other side Genesis Vinte was the lone bright spot in the sloppy UE Junior Warriors squad as they remain winless after 11 games, though they were able to improve their scoring this time after they only scored 26 on their last outing.
