The search is on for the next Binibinis that will represent the Philippines in various international beauty pageant, Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. Chairperson Madam Stella Marquez Araneta announced today January 5, 2016 is the start of the application process for the aspiring Binibinis.
2015 was another banner year for the Binibinis as they shined internationally and even brought two crowns with Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach bagged the 3rd Miss Universe Crown for the Philippines and Ann Lorraine Collis who won the Miss Globe 2015 crown in Canada, other Binibinis shined and did well in their respective pageants as well.
Christy Lynn McGarry placed as First Runner Up and was named Miss Asia and Oceania in the Miss Intercontinental 2015 in Germany, Parul Shah bagged the Third Runner Up and Best National Costume at the Miss Grand International in Thailand, Janicel Lubina placed in the Top 10 and bagged the Best Dresser Award, while Rogelie Catacutan was able to enter the Semifinals of the Miss Supranational in Poland.
If you think you got what it takes to be the next Binibini here are the basic requirements, you must be 17 to 26 years of age and a Filipino Citizen, Highschool Graduate at least. Other requirements aside from the Application form are One close up and One full body shot, birth certificate, Philippine Passport, college or highschool diploma, medical certificate, certificate of good moral character and parentel consent for application for applicants below 18 years old.
You can get the application for at www.bbpilipinas.com or you can get one at the Binibining Pilipinas office near the Red gate of the Araneta Coliseum. Applications are accepted from weekdays starting January 6 to January 30 from 10am to 5pm
