Samsung has finally unpacked their newest flagship devices, the Galaxy Note 20 and the Note 20 Ultra in their virtual launch yesterday, August 5, in South Korea.
Before we talk about the two new Galaxy Note, Samsung also unpacked in the event their newest Android tablets the Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+, they also announced the newest Galaxy Watch 3 that is packed with more health options such as the ECG and Blood Pressure monitor to keep you on tract of your health specially in times like this.
Okay, let's resume with the first major highlight of the #Unpacked2020, the Galaxy Note 20 and the Note 20 Ultra, let's first talk about the latter one.
Samsung Galaxy Note 20
When it comes to the size of the two Note their isn't that much difference unlike the Note 10 and the Note 10+, the regular Note 20 is packed with a 6.8 inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1080x2400 with a 393 pixel per inch density although despite these screen specifications the Note 20 doesn't support higher 120hz screen refresh rate, the Note 20 also features a flat display unlike the edge to edge screen on the Note 20 Ultra.
A 128GB and 256GB variants are paired with a 8GB of RAM, sadly theirs no expansion slot available for the Note 20.
In the camera department, the Note 20 features three rear cameras the first is a 12 megapixel Wide camera, next is a 64 megapixel Telephoto camera, and last is another 12 megapixel Ultrawide camera. The front facing camera is at 10 megapixel locked in a punch hole in the middle top of the phone.
A 4300 mAh battery juices up the Note 20 and it comes in Mystic Bronze, Mystic Gray, and Mystic Green.
The Note 20 price starts at $1000 for the 5G version, that's around Php 50000-55000 inclusive of tax.
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra
Contrary to last year's Note, the size of the Note 20 Ultra's screen isn't far from the regular Note 20, as it packed a 6.9 inch screen, but unlike the latter the Note 20 Ultra uses a Dynamic AMOLED screen that suits up with the 120Hz refresh rate that gives its users a premium view of its content.
The Note 20 Ultra comes in 128/256/512GB variants that is powered by a 12GB of RA. There's also an expansion slot for additional memory in this variant.
In the cameras, the Note 20 Ultra comes with a 108 megapixel Main camera, a 12 megapixel Periscope Telephoto lens, and a 12 megapixel Ultrawide camera. The front facing camera is same as the regular Note 20.
A 4500mAh Battery powers the Note 20 Ultra and it comes in Mystic Bronze, Mystic Black, and Mystic White.
The price of the Note 20 Ultra starts at $1300 or roughly Php65000-68000 pesos inclusive of tax.
For the chipset and processor, Samsung uses their more improved Exynos 990 7nm+ chipset for the global variants and the Snapdragon 865+ for their US variants for both the Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra.
The Note 20 and 20 Ultra will be available this August 21, pre order starts on our local telcos from August 7-18.
