Enzo Bonoan: Transforming Lives Through Fitness

 





Last week we talked about Enzo's fitness routines, this time we go deeper in his passion of transforming people not just in the physical aspect, but as a whole. 

Enzo Bonoan has been a transformation coach for years now and changing ones perspective when it comes to life and health is his goal for his clients, just imagine how difficult it is for one to change another person's perspective, to drop the usual in exchange of having a new normal that would take time and a lot of patience, discipline, and perseverance not only for his client but also for him as he should be the perfect example of being what the word "Fit" is.

One’s transformation starts where?


For me, a transformation begins in the mind and that is when an individual makes the decision to make a change. I always ask my clients what their goals are because in a subtle way, they are making that decision.

Any tips for those who want to lose weight or wanted to be fit during this community quarantine I think it would be very good to start with a concrete goal in mind and commit to it. This way, a sound and practical strategy can be made. Then from there, nutrition and exercise plans can be made following certain concepts and taking certain factors into consideration (ex. Favorite foods, allergies, less movement due to staying at home) When it comes to weight management, majority of the equation is about ones diet. One tip that I give to my clients is to practice MO-VA-BA (Moderation, Variety & Balance) and the 80-20 Rule (80% of total caloric intake should come from nutrient-dense foods while we can eat “fun foods” for the remaining 20%). Nutrition is really about quantity and quality, but also about consistency. Especially with less movement due to staying at home, watching ones food intake is more necessary to staying in shape. What’s the most important thing for someone to achieve their fitness goal? For me, it’s really about consistency. Reaching ones fitness goal will not happen in a week or two. Nor may it happen in a few months. The best strategy to reach a fitness goal is to find one that works but also allows you to enjoy the process even after you reach your goal. Small but daily wins add up into big ones. What’s your ultimate goal? My ultimate goal is to be able to affect as many lives as I can through my advocacy and mission: Fitness for everyone. My idea of purpose in life is about making the world a better place not just for myself but for other people. I believe that through promoting fitness for everyone, people can be healthier and happier and thus be able to enjoy life to the fullest.
