HMD Global announced today their first ever flagship device, dubbed as the Nokia 8 the phone packs a 5.3 inch IPS LCD Display with a QHD resolution with a brightness up to 700 nits, the screen is protected by a 2.5D Gorilla Glass 5 that curves through the phone's metal chassis that is measured 7.9mm thick and it has an IP54 rating.
The main highlight of the Nokia 8 is the camera, the front and dual main cameras are both made by Zeiss, making this phone as the mark of the reunion of Nokia and Zeiss. The dual main camera features two 13 megapixel sensors (1.12µm pixels and an f/2.0 aperture), it also has optical image stabilization, laser autofocus and a dual LED flash.
Nokia 8 uses the OZO Audio that gives a 360° surround audio recording that will capture the sound that is at par with the quality of a 4k video recording.
The Nokia 8 is set to be available globally by September with a 600-euros price tag, it comes in Tempered Blue, Polished Blue, Steel, and Polished Copper.
