The San
Beda Red Lions went home triumphant after they dealt the Perpetual Help Altas a
57-53 home court defeat as the NCAA on tour went all the way to the Las Pinas
Campus of the Altas.
The game
went low for both squads as they went 10-9 in favor of San Beda in the opening
quarter, the same story goes in the second period as both squads only scored 11
points, finishing the first half 21-20 still for the Red Lions.
In the
second half it was still a close and low scoring ball game with San Beda still
on top 37-35. In the final period the Perps were able to take the lead back at
49-45. Jomari Presbitero was able to make back to back three’s gave San Beda a
51-49 lead.
Robert Bolick
led the Red Lions with 10 points and rebounds, while Clint Doliguez added 11
points.
Gab
Dagangon had 17 points for the Altas, Prince Eze added 11 points and 17
rebounds.
