The Lyceum of the Philippines University Pirates had a disappointing record last season, despite having a good run the Pirates ended with a 6-12 win-loss record that placed them second to the last in the standing.
Last season Lyceum banked on the service of their ace players like their foreign reinforcement Mike Nzeusseu who averaged 15.3 points per game and 15. 3 rebounds per game, followed by Jesper Ayaay with 9.4 points per game and 5.6 rebounds, and Wilson Baltazar who had 8.8 points per game last season.
Good news for the Pirates is that all the three of them are coming back this season and they will have a good company as they will be playing with the players that Coach Topex Robinson brought aboard their ship in CJ Perez, Ralph Tansingco and Spencer Pretta who were all transferees Perez from Ateneo, Tansingco from NU and Pretta from San Sebastian, Former Tamaraw Team B big men Gab Valencia and Aldrich Liwag are also aboard the ship to strenghten the core of Lyceum, making them one of the top contender for the title this year.
Season 92 was a rebuilding season for the Lyceum Pirates, with a new coach coming in
