Kris Bernal plays Nimfa and Rosette in "Impostora", though the show has the same title with the 2007 series that stars Iza Calzado and Sunshine Dizon this 2017 version was primarily based on the 1994 movie "Sa Isang Sulok Ng Mga Pangarap" starring Alice Dixson.
The 2017 version of Impostora tackles the life of Nimfa and Rosette. Nimfa is an ugly young and innocent lass from the slums that strives hard to help her aunt, though she's ugly Nimfa was blessed with a beautiful heart that became her weakness as many people abused her, one day Nimfa got herself into trouble that changed her life literally as she meets Rosette, a vicious, ill mannered, unloving mother and a cheating wife.
Rosette will use Nimfa to replace her, lending her face Nimfa becomes Rosette and also becomes the mother to her kids and the wife of Homer. Meanwhile, Rosette will enjoy her forbidden relationship with Dr. Jeremy. Will Rosette and Nimfa succeed in deceiving Homer? or will their deception back fire on them?
Impostora also stars Rafael Rosell as Homer and Ryan Eigenmann as Dr Jeremy, along with Elizabeth Oropesa, Aicelle Santos, Vaness Del Moral, Sinon Loresca, Leandro Baldemor and Assunta De Rossi. Directed by Aya Topacio and Albert Langitan, Impostora is set to begin this Monday right after Ika Anim Na Utos only on GMA.
