After the Very Controversial RH Bill another Controversial Bill is yet to be discussed, the Divorce Bill.
First what is Divorce? Divorce is the is the final termination of a marital union, canceling the legal duties and responsibilities of marriage and dissolving the bonds of matrimony between the parties. In most countries divorce requires the sanction of a court or other authority in a legal process. The legal process for divorce may also involve issues of spousal support, child custody, child support, distribution of property and division of debt.
In the whole world as of 2011 only 2 countries are left with no Divorce The Vatican City and The Republic of The Philippines. Last year Malta approved its Divorce Law after the Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi conceded as 3/4 or 72% of the Electorate voted that divorced should be legalized.
In the Philippines Divorce Bill Philippines or the Hous bill 1799 was filed by Gabriella Party List Rep. Luzviminda Ilagan.
In the Philippines we have Annulment and Legal Seperation.
