At 11:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Depression “DODONG” was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 60 km Southwest of Iba, Zambales (15.1°N, 119.4°E).
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS: 55 KPH near the center
MOVEMENT: North Northwest
SPEED: 15 KPH
Dodong is the 4th tropical depession to enter the Philippines this year after Amang, Bebeng, and Chedeng. and This is the first tropical depression to enter the official rainy season in the Philippines.
