NCAA Season 87

This Saturday July 2, 2011, The National Collegiate Athletics Association, The Country's Oldest Collegiate Sports Association will Kick off its 87Th season. This season the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta will take over the as the Host School from Last years Host the San Sebastian College- Recolletos.

The Opening Ceremonies will be held at the Araneta Coliseum @12nn, The Theme this year is " Brazen@87",It is said that the 8 division Boxing Champion Cong Manny Pacquiao will be gracing the opening ceremony.

Following after the opening ceremony is the First three games of the season @2pm the defending Champions San Beda College Red Lions will clash against the Host School the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta Altas. and @4pm San Sebastian College Recolletos Stags will battle against the Jose Rizal University Heavy Bombers and @6pm Mapua Institute of Technology battles out with the Colegio De San Juan De Letran Knights.

There will be10 official teams that will fight for the crown this year, The newest entry was the Lyceum of the Philippines University Pirates replacing the Angeles University Foundation. New coaches were also hired for this season. Topex Robinson will be the coaching the San Sebastian College Stags, Jimwell Gican for the Host school UPHSD, Gerry Esplana for the Emilio Aguinaldo Generals,

It is also said that the next season of the NCAA will be not held anymore in the San Juan Arena, Next years Host School Letran and the SM Prime Holdings Made a partnership that will bring the NCAA games into the Mall of Asia Arena that features State of the art equipment that will benifit both of the fans and the athletes, It can house up to 20000 audiences it will be open by May 2012.
