The Trigonal of the Baby Tams failed to push FEU into the crucial win. Royce Alforque exploded in the second half of the game to produce 26 big points, Rhonjhay Abarrientos added 16 points, while Xyrus Torres anchored in the first half with 15 points.
Mark Nonoy led the way for the Tiger Cubs with 24 points and 10 rebounds.
