The Lady Tamaraws scored a huge win over the Lady Maroons in four hard fought sets 25-17, 24-26, 25-23, and 25-19, with this win the Lady Tamaraws were able to tie the Lady Maroons at third with 4-2 win-loss card.
Bernadeth Pons proved to be the anchor of the Lady Tamaraws offense and defense after pouring in 24 points, 22 of which came from attacks and 2 block points, Pons also had an excellent performance in the digging and receiving department having 23 excellent digs and 14 excellent reception. Remy Palma and Toni Rose Basas both added 11 points to help Pons in this game.
On the side of the Lady Maroons, Diana Carlos led the scoring with 17 points, 12 from spikes, 3 aces, and 2 blocks. Isa Molde added 11 points for the Lady Maroons as they take their second straight defeat. The Lady Tamaraws moves up to number three tied with the Lady Maroons with 4-2.
In the second game the gutsy Tigresses feasted on the disorriented Lady Bulldogs after they overcome the first set loss to comeback and swept the game away in the next three sets 21-25, 25-14, 25-14, 25-12.
Cherry Rondina led the Tigresses with 15 points, while EJ Laure and Dominique Pacres added 11 points, Jaja Santiago meanwhile was the lone bright spot in the Lady Bulldogs having 15 points. The Tigresses ties Lady Bulldogs at #5 3-3 record.
