Myx Music Awards 2017 Winners

Sarah Geronimo, Darren Espanto, Gloc 9 and Nadine Lustre emerges as the big winners in the recently concluded Myx Music Awards 2017. Sarah Geronimo won three awards including the Favorite Collaboration for the Great Unknown, Favorite Song and Music Video for Tala, Darren Espanto bagged two major awards the Favorite Male Artist and Favorite Artist, Gloc 9 won Favorite Urban Video and Best Music Video for Hoy, while Nadine Lustre bagged the Favorite Media Soundtrack for This Time with James Reid and she was also able to retain the Favorite Female Artist.

 

The awarding was held at the Kia Theater in Cubao where the current VJ's of Myx hosted the event, with the performances from Jona, Kiana Valenciano, Kyle Echarri, Inigo Pascual, Sue Ramirez, Marlo Mortel, Kristel Fulgar, and Daryl Ong to open up the show and also Ella Cruz, Julian Trono, Boyband PH, Fourth Impact, and SUD gave specially perfomances throughout the show.

 

Meanwhile, Myx Philippines paid tribute to one of the country's leading record producers, the patriarch of Viva Entertainment Inc. Mr Vic Del Rosario by giving him this years' Myx Magna Awards. Thyro Alfaro, Yumi Lacsamana,  Jinky Vidal, Jaya, and last year' Magna Awardee Ogie Alcasid sang some of the best hits from Viva Records that produced some of the country's premiere performers such as Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo, Asia's Songbird Regine Velsquez, and the Megastar Ms Sharon Cuneta.
