The Last Word stars Amanda Seyfried and Shirley Maclaine, the film tackles the life of a retired businesswoman named Harriet(Maclaine) that wants to control everything around her, including her own obituary, so she writes her own to ensure her life story is told her way. A young writer named Anne(Amanda) at the local newspaper takes up the task of finding out the truth about what people really thinks of Harriet.
The Last Word is directed by Mark Pellington and produced by Bleecker Street, the movie premiered at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival last March 3, the movie is set to come in the Philippines this March 22 distributed by Star Cinema.
