Microsoft officially announced the release of its newest Smartphone OS the Windows Phone 8, the WP8 will bring a more and interactive tile for its User Interface and themes, also now the WP8 will support Dual Core processors.
The Windows Phone 8 is expected to be released by early 4th quarter of this year, and what are the upgrades that it will showcase, it will now support 3 types of screen resolution 720p (1280x720), WXGA (1280x768) WVGA (800x480).
Unfortunately the Windows Phone 8 is NOT an update for any Windows Phone 7 device, the Windows Phone 8 will be a stand alone OS from Microsoft like the Windows Mobile 6 and the WP7, and a good news Windows will release an OTA update the WP 7.8 that will come anytime this year.
