Waiting for the next Big Bang

We like to talk of Angel in a big way, and we mean really big. We’ve taken our cue from her name itself and worshipped her as the winged being from heaven. And then, as a heavenly body—a planet whose orbit had recently turned erratic but whose return we all know will come. This time we’re going for the almost unfathomable. She is a universe steadily expanding as to almost disappear. We were there when the first Big Bang happened, and it was amazing. They say a universe can only expand so much, that there will come a time when everything will collapse into a point of singularity in preparation for—who knows?—another Big Bang. We are waiting for that second one. And the point of singularity? Us. A cover. Angel looking like an entirely new universe.
