Last Thursday I was able to get a hand of the Samsung Galaxy S III, thanks to the Jump Center in SM Megamall :), and I was able to browse some features of it.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 features a 4.8 inches super AMOLED Capacitive Touchscreen with Corning Gorilla Glass 2. 1.4 Quadcore Processor and Exynos chipset. it comes with a 16gb/32gb/64gb memory, It is also 4G/LTE Capable,
The Samsung Galaxy S II runs on Android 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with TouchWiz 4.0 UI, The version of the TouchWiz in the Galaxy S III is far different from the TouchWiz UI on other Galaxy Models of Samsung, I can say that it is more interactive and it looks better than the one on the Galaxy S II.I also like how the Lockscreen of the S III can be change into a liquid like lockscreen but still you can choose the ordinary Lockscreen that comes with the Android ICS. .
The Samsung Galaxy S3 screen resolution is so clear plus the fact that it is AMOLED, I love how samsung made this phone so fast and so smooth even in browsing the web absolutely no lags and you can read the content of the site even without zooming it.
One of the things that I really love about the Samsung galaxy S III is the Pop Up Play capability, This enables you to do other things on the phone like texting, browsing the web, browsing different applications while watching a Movie or Video. this is not applicable if you are using the camera.also I love the video gallery of the S III when you switch it to thumbnail mode the videos will show a moving preview of the video and it looks like a .gif file moving :)
The 8MP Camera of the Samsung Galaxy S III captures good quality pictures and high resolution videos, One of the things in S III that Amazed me is that the Phone is capable of detecting if you are sleepy or not, With the use of the Front Facing Camera that by the way capture good quality images, the Phone can detect if you are already feeling sleepy or your still wide awake, The Phone will automatically dim its lights if it knows that you are already sleepy and when you already fell asleep it will automatically turn off its lights.
It is really is to create SMS messages with the S III, I just find it awkward in the Dialer it really gives out a Huge Numeric Keys, all in all typing in the S III is easy, though I just notice that the onscreen keyboard of the S III looks like the Keyboard of the HTC One X.
The Samsung Galaxy S III has its own voice assistant (Siri like) the S-Voice, with this you can use your voice in unlocking or locking the device. S-Voice will help you search everything and abything from your phone and even on the web.
