The Far Eastern University Tamaraws gets to live another day after they survived the late run of the NU Bulldogs 79-74.

The game went tight for both squads at the start of the match with FEU taking a slight 19-18 advantage in the opening quarter, but going in to the second period the Tamaraws took advantage of the sloppy plays of NU to pull away 44-28 to end the first half.
