The 79th season of the University Athletics Association of the Philippines had just wrapped up and that means we are off to counting down the days before the 80th season kick off.
The Far Eastern University is set to host the 80th season of the UAAP this September with a theme "Go For Great" the school wants to give not only the athletes and students, but also the fans a great experience next season as they plan an All Star Weekend in basketball and volleyball.
Also FEU considers to move the Beach Volleyball and Football tournament at night time to avoid the burning heat of the sun considering that theses sports were played outdoors that might be too risky for the health of the student athletes. Another sport that the hosts considers to add to the roster of sporting events is the 3x3 Basketball.
The tentative opening day of the UAAP season 80 is said to be on the 9th of September at the Mall of Asia Arena, that's more or less three months from now, many things will still change and will come so stay tuned for more updates.
