Yesterday, October 1, members of the media sent off the very first Miss Grand Philippines under ALV's pageant circle in a press conference held in a hotel in Pasay City.
Crowned last July 13 at the Mall of Asia Arena, 19-year-old Nikki Advincula de Moura from Cagayan de Oro City is all set to compete in the upcoming 11th edition of Miss Grand International pageant happening in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam this coming October 25.
This Brazilian-Pinay model will try her best to get that first Green and Gold crown for the Philippines, in the press conference Nikki said that although she feels quite pressured since this is going to be her first international pageant she will not let it get to her as she had been training rigorously specially with her pasarela walk and Q&A.
She's been preparing along with her styling team led by Odelon Simpao for her daily outfits coming in to the competition in Vietnam down to the coronation night, Nikki shared that her styling will have a Yin and Yang vibe, wearing bright and colorful outfits by day and at night it's going to be a more sophisticated and sexy look for her.
