The ExorSis is a horror-comedy film about two sisters who has an unstable relationship to each other after both of their parents died in a car crash. The inciting incident started when Alex Gonzaga’s role, Dani, was paralyzed by an unknown spirit in the time where Toni Gonzaga’s role, Gina, was currently preparing to migrate abroad. It continues to be tangled when the story about the unknown spirit has slowly started to unfold.

The ExorSis stars the famous Gonzaga sisters. Honestly speaking, the only role in this film that gave justice was Toni’s portrayal of Dani. As we all know that Toni Gonzaga’s movies in the past are all great, heartwarming and critically acclaimed, her portrayal here of Dani was still well. In fact, her presence here was the only good thing about this film in a general sense. All the other supporting actresses and actors present felt forced, including Melai Cantiveros’ who can do a lot if only she had given a chance to shine. Story wise, for a comedy film, this is fully disappointing. The narrative is completely messy and predictable to the point that there are a lot of scenes that should’ve not been included in the final cut for it has little to no effect to the plot. Also, since this is a comedy film, many of the jokes aren’t that laugh worthy anymore and most of the witty lines aren’t as humorous as we all expected to be in a Gonzaga siblings’ film.

Nevertheless, The ExorSis is still a successful fan service. Though it may be an utter disappointment for a comedy film enthusiast, but if you are a huge fan of the Gonzagas, this movie is for you. The ExorSis is written and directed by Fifth Solomon and is produced by Viva Films and TinCan productions.
